Snow in Solitary

Today I went to work under a bright blue sky clear as a bell and like most began to burn obligatory 8 hours, 33% of a days life, with my nose to the grind.
perhaps unlike most my fascist establishment of employ has not a single window. No doors to the outside world, no skylight not even a termite hole to reveal what is happening elsewhere in the world.
So it came as a bit of a shock when hometime came and we found .....

SNOW ! ... In March too!

A mini blizzard, the place was thick with the stuff like it was Christmas or something. Can someone tell me how that went and happened?
What is up with the weather in this country anyway. Sometimes I think its as crazy as the people.

But I love snow so its fine by me :-)

as crazy as the people it is. maybe that's why the people are crazy though, which came first (chicken or egg?) snow is good. look it made you all poetic. talking of poetry, i found a really cute poem today, u wanna hear? ok then

My love got in the car
And sat on a banana,
My unobserved banana,
And my organic crisps.

We spoke of life and love,
His rump on my banana,
My hidden soft banana
And my forgotten crisps.

He kissed me more than once
As he sat on my banana,
That newly squashed banana,
And those endangered crisps.

We looked up at the stars -
Beneath him my banana
And my delicious crisps.

At last i dropped him off
And i noticed the banana -
Alas, a ruined banana,
And sadly damaged crisps.

You'd think he would have felt
A fairly large banana
And, if not the banana
The lumpy bag of crisps.

But he's the kind of man
Who'll sit on your banana
For hours. Watch your banana
And guard your bag of crisps.

He waved goodbye and smiled,
Benign as a banana.
'I love you daft banana'
Said I, and ate the crisps.

That was written in 1945 by Wendy Cope. It made me think of dropping you off in my car. I love roo daft banana.

Looks a bit like that estate you have to walk past to get to your house... just near the spring inn???
